The new year is upon us and with that, comes new resolutions.

Some of us want to learn a new language, others aim to spend less time on our phones. Maybe it’s a goal to lose those few extra pounds or travel more. Whatever you are reaching to accomplish, one of the toughest things to do is to keep a New Years resolution. Do you know that on average, only 6% of people actually stick to their resolutions each year? One of the reasons for this is that people typically focus on the big outcome instead of changing their daily habits. For example, instead of making the resolution, “I want to be less stressed” your resolution could be “I want to meditate every night before bed.” By changing a habit associated with the outcome you want to see, you are much more likely to achieve your overarching resolution.
